Non-Enterprise In non-Enterprise versions of Retain, in Retain Manager, under Setup | Extra Settings... you can add colours/priorities that are fixed. Bookings with these priorities cannot be moved until the priority is changed. Note: Fixed priorities should not be thought of as the opposite of 'Moveable priorities', 'Moveable' priorities carry a different meaning. Enterprise In the Retain Enterprise edition, you would achieve a generalised solution such as the above through using Retain Security and row-level access. You could however choose to lock individual bookings assuming your database is set up correctly with a field BKG_LOCKED in the BKG table. In this case Retain will give you the option to lock bookings by right-clicking on them and choosing Modify | Lock Booking. Locked bookings are highlighted in red. They must be unlocked before the booking can be modified.
