To add a bank holiday to the Retain Enterprise wallchart, you need to go into Security Manager and open your Default diary, under Diaries | Diary on the left hand pane. Any diaries which are based on this diary will inherit changes you make to this one, as will diaries based on diaries based on this one (etc!).
In the example above, boxing day has just been added as a non-standard day in 2005.
Right-clicking a day which you want to make a bank holiday and selecting 'public holiday' from the list of 'non-standard days' will set that day as having special working hours as in the definition of the 'public holiday' day. If this is not available as an option you may wish to add a day with zero working time under Diaries | Days and call this 'public holiday' (for instance).
