Topics in this FAQ are marked with symbols which indicate to which editions of Retain they refer. 'Pl' indicates a topic is relevant to users of Retain Planner, 'St' is for Standard, 'Nts' is for Retain for Notes, 'DBI' is for Database Independent Edition, 'CS' is for Client-Server, 'Ent' is for Retain Enterprise Edition.
There are 6 different editions of Retain:
Retain Planner
This will have an executable named rrpCLS.exe, and this executable will be in a sub-folder of the main directory called 'Client'.
Retain Standard
This will have an executable named rrpSTD.exe, or older versions may be called s2rtn32s.exe.
Retain for Notes
This will have an executable named rrpNTS.exe, or older versions may be called s2rtnnts.exe.
Retain Database Independent (DBI)
This will have an executable named rrpDBI.exe or rrpADO.exe, or in older versions may be called s2rtncls.exe.
Retain Client-Server
This will have an executable named rrpCLS.exe, or older versions may be called s2Retain3.exe.
Retain Enterprise
This will have an executable named rrpENT.exe, or older versions may be called s2retainent.exe .
