The system is entirely web based,
so there is no additional client software to be maintained on users
workstations. |
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
• |
Retain WebTime & Expense is written
using Java and Java Server Pages (JSP) throughout, which means that
it will run on a wide variety of different hardware platforms, operating
systems and web servers. |
|
| |
|
|
|

All our software uses standard SQL
to communicate with its database, which means that the system is not
tied into any particular database vendor. The system can use most
of the popular database systems including Oracle, Microsoft SQLServer,
IBM DB2 and DB2/400, and the open source postgreSQL. |

Where analysis codes already exist,
within say your accounting system database, and you wish to share
those codes with Retain WebTime & Expense, the product's ability
to seamlessly read external data-sources means there is no need to
duplicate those codes. |

Our flexible export tool allows data
held in the Retain WebTime & Expense database to be written out
to a file. The format of the file is completely customizable, and
the export system can be configured to save the file a preset location,
or alternatively send the file using email or FTP. |

The system incorporates a scheduler
that can be used to automatically generate data export files, and
perform other regularly occurring tasks. |

User validation can be configured
